Why relationships trump spreadsheets

A core value of ours at Financial Edge Group is that relationships are more important than spreadsheets. Why? Because sometimes we need to move beyond the ‘maths’ involved in financial planning to make the best decisions for you.

We believe in this so much, that our company tagline is ‘our relationships make your retirement journey easy’.

When we work with clients, it’s not always about the spreadsheets, the tax savings, or the best super fund. It’s about our relationship with you first, and the maths second.

We want each of our clients to feel like we are financial advisers they can trust, who they know have their best interests at heart. We truly know each of our clients, who they are, what their families look like, how hard they work on their businesses, and what they want to achieve.

We can spend all day putting fancy spreadsheets together (and trust us, we do love a spreadsheet!) but the relationships we have with each client and being able to communicate, instil confidence and reassure you every step of the way is our favourite part of the process.

In our experience, creating relationships is the real value in financial planning, and it’s the thing we take the most pride in. We view each client as a relationship we’re building, not a transaction because we want clients for life!

So, if you’d like to explore financial and retirement planning, and experience our relationship-first approach you can book a chat via our contact page.
